Why No Tips?

At Great Blue Heron Outdoors, we believe that every person who works should be paid a full, fair wage by their employer. In a mixed retail and service venue like our Lawrence shop, tipping creates unstable and inequitable compensation results for our employees. We value the contributions of all of our team members and compensate them accordingly.

 

For our customers who wish to contribute to our community, we do accept cash donations that are directed to clean water conservation projects and local environmental groups.
