Our Flies:
We have a large selection of flies, and we keep putting new ones on the shelf! Here is our fly map and here’s a video to let you get a feel of what you'll find in the shop!
GBH Spin Fishing Lures:
This spring we are expanding our Great Blue Heron/GBH branded spin fishing lure selection. We are sourcing some of the lures ourselves, and some are co-branded with local soft bait makers. Two of our recent arrivals are from Swing 'Em In bait company and Top Secret jig company. Both are located right here in Kansas! Here are photos of the lures we are carrying:
"Spin It!":
We are a fan of creating an essentially new lure by adding a spinner blade attachment to an existing jig head soft bait. The traditional "beetle spin" type bait is this configuration, but we don’t think it’s used enough with other jig head type baits. Keep some of our "Spin It" spinners on hand, and try them if you’re not having success with the straight jig presentation.
